Switching from QA engineer to Project manager - level UP or DOWN?

Project manager in international company "Smile" with 6+ years of experience in IT. Worked as QA engineer (started from junior and got to QA Lead position). Currently have ~1 year of experience in project management. 

High technical education diploma, SM certification (by ScrumAlliance), listened to project management courses (provided by local organisation "WebAcademy"), tutor of mathematics and physics in the past. 

Started to work in Sevastopol local IT company as a junior QA engineer - php, simple CMSs (for 2.5 year). Continued in Kiev's Adyax office as middle QA > QA TL - drupal (for 3 years). Till current moment I'm taking the position of PM in Smile international company (drupal), relocating to Paris this spring to the head office.
